It’s tradition in Fort Zumwalt School District to pause each Nov. 11 and welcome those who have served into our schools. Each year assemblies are paired with meals, which are paired with the shared stories of the hundreds of veterans who join our students and staff.
This year, we can’t gather, but we can still share stories. And we can still say thank you.
Here you'll find just a few of the ways our students and staff are recognizing the service of these important family members, friends, colleagues and neighbors. We all look forward to when we can again welcome veterans to our schools so they can share their stories and be recognized.
Be sure to head over to our YouTube Channel for a special playlist of video celebrations.
And tune-in to the FORTiTUDE podcast to learn more about the St. Charles County Veterans Museum, which opened for special hours on Nov. 11.
Thank you.
