Special Education

The Fort Zumwalt School district provides special education supports and services to eligible students who require specially designed instruction in order to access the general education curriculum in alignment with IDEA and state law, we provide a full continuum of services to ensure students participate in their education in the least restrictive environment. If you suspect your child has an educational disability please contact your child's school counselor. The Fort Zumwalt Special Services Department is committed to working with students and their families to make individualized educational decisions.

Students participating in non-public and homeschooling education:

The Fort Zumwalt District offers eligible special education students participating in non-public education or homeschooling within our district boundaries an Individualized Service Plan to meet their individual needs. To access these services students must meet special education eligibility requirements. Please contact your child's non-public school or the Special Services Department. 636-281-9815
