Dear Parents and Families:
Trailblazer and Panther Cub Families,
The BOGO book fair is coming! It will be here Monday, April 29th through Friday, May 3rd. All students will get the opportunity to shop at the Scholastic Book Fair during their regularly scheduled library time. If your child brings in money on a day that is after their library day they may come down as well, when their teacher allows it. The book fair will be open daily from 9:15-3:30. The book fair also will be open in the evening on Tuesday, April 30th from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. The book fair will not be open before or after school except for the date mentioned above. This is a BOGO (Buy One Get One Free) bookfair, so it is a great time to stock up on books for your child to read over the summer or to help a teacher build up their classroom library.
In-School and Online Shopping Options! With Book Fair eWallet, a safe and convenient digital payment account, your student can shop the Fair cash-free! The eWallet option makes buying books hassle free and ensures that money isn’t lost before they get to the Book Fair. If you’re not able to attend the Fair, try our new online shopping option. We’ve partnered with The Scholastic Store™ to offer over 6,000 products that ship direct to your home (with free shipping on orders of $25 or more)! Visit our homepage to access eWallet or shop online.
Scan the QR code below to create an eWallet or shop the book fair online. If you want to use leftover eWallet funds from a previous book fair you will still need to scan this QR code and transfer them onto a new eWallet for the spring book fair, it will prompt you to do this once you login to your Scholastic Account.
This QR code is for both St. Peters & Lewis & Clark. In addition to eWallet, cash will be accepted.
If you are sending in cash with your child to shop at the Book Fair, please send it in a labeled envelope or Ziploc bag with the child's name, child's teacher and the amount of money in the envelope. Due to a change with Scholastic SALES TAX WILL BE CHARGED for purchases made at the book fair.
Credit cards will only be accepted on the evening of April 30th.
Students will have the opportunity to bring in spare change to give to the “All for Books” Campaign.” Not only does your donation help our school cause, but Scholastic Book Fair will match monetary donations raised with a donation of up to one million books to two non-profit organizations dedicated to helping families, children and teachers acquire books and education resources- Kids In Need Foundation and Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc. Please don’t hesitate to email me at AMoss@fz.k12.mo.us if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing your child and family at our Book Fair!
Sincerely,
Amber Moss
