The
Plan for Finals and the End of First Semester;
Friday, January 10th-We will have an AMI half day on Friday with no in-person classes and we will follow our schedule (early release) with periods 4 and 7 only. Staff “records day” was/is Thursday afternoon and Friday afternoon after our 10:35 release.
Monday, January 13th-Our semester one will end with a full school day on Monday, Jan. 13th, 2025. On this day all High Schools will have an A-Day where all semester one classes will meet to finalize any projects, wrap up any loose ends, lecture students on the best snow removal techniques and have any students who wish to sign up to take their semester one finals do so.
Those that wish to take finals-(Remember, no students are required to take any finals and all finals will be hold harmless-not punitive.) Any students who still wish to take a final can sign up to do so on Monday during class. We want to finalize all finals by Thursday, Jan. 16th (as semester grades are due the 17th). We will formally offer finals at the following times:
After school on Wednesday, Jan. 15th in the library after early dismissal (proctored by admin, counselors, paras). This is a very good time to take finals!
During Academic Networking on Thursday, Jan. 16th (45 mins) in teacher’s classrooms or the library
Before, during class or after school this week only as organized with the student’s individual teacher.
Semester two begins Tuesday, January 14th-Semester two classes will officially begin on Tuesday, Jan. 14th, 2025. Thursday, Jan. 16th, is the final day to offer any semester one exams.
