Krystal Deterding has been selected as the Fort Zumwalt School District Educator of the Year! This is such a tremendous honor, and we could not be more proud to see Krystal recognized in this way. Her dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to students and staff make her a truly outstanding educator and teammate. From her early days at SMS as a paraprofessional to her role as a LINK teacher and now her current role as a co-teacher and modified ELA teacher, Krystal has continually found ways to grow, support others, and make a lasting impact.
Her calm and steady presence, her ability to build strong relationships with students, especially those with unique needs, and her leadership with Leader in Me are just a few of the many reasons she is so deserving of this award.
