Making Learning Come Alive in Mrs. Weis’s 5th Grade Class! In science class, students are discovering how physical properties of matter, such as magnetism can be used to separate the components of a mixture. Hands-on activities like these are sparking curiosity, encouraging critical thinking, and making learning exciting! Great job, 5th graders! Keep exploring the amazing world of science!#proudprincipals

Miss Burton’s and Mrs. Hunsel’s 4th graders thrived in a hands-on learning environment where collaborative partnerships played a key role. Using number line diagrams to identify the closest multiples of 1,000, 10,000, and 100,000, students engaged in meaningful discussions, supporting one another in their understanding. The "Notice and Wonder" strategy sparked curiosity, as students observed patterns and relationships between numbers, sharing their discoveries and asking thoughtful questions. This approach not only reinforced their mathematical thinking but also encouraged deeper engagement. The combination of hands-on activities and peer collaboration helped these rockstar fourth graders solidify their understanding of multiples while building confidence in their abilities.#proudprincipals
